Military airstrikes demolish bandits camps and weapons in Zamfara.

 Nigerian armed forces said that airstrikes carried out by the Hadrian Daji air operation destroyed the bandit's camps and their weapons in Tsibirin and Manya in an area Zurmi local government in Zamfara state.  Dozens of armed bandits were killed in the operation, which is part of the newly launched agreement process, according to a statement issued by Defense Media Operations Coordinator, Major General John Enanche. 

According to the statement: "The air interception mission was carried out in Tsibiri, 15 kilometres east of Zurmi, following reliable Human Intelligence Reports (HUMINT) indicating that the camp, together with its groups of straw huts, was located near the group of trees, which was used by bandits To hide their fighters and store their weapons and ammunition.

 Accordingly, two attack helicopters of the Nigerian Air Force were sent to engage the site, achieving precise strikes on the target area, which led to the destruction of the structures, weapons and ammunition stored. It also neutralized bandits in the surrounding huts and shrubs. 

Attacking helicopters subsequently launched an airstrike on another camp in southern many, which also killed more armed bandits, including some of their commanders, as they gathered to attend On-site meeting.

 "The Chief of Air Staff, Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, commends the air component of the HADARIN DAJI for their professionalism and directs them to remain tight while continuing to provide close air support to ongoing ground operations, towards achieving the directives of the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) to restore normalcy in the Northwest and Northwest Territories".
