The Ministry of Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the development of the regulations for re opening mosques in all city's of the Kingdom, excluding for Jeddah and Makkah.


The ministry says in a Communique that it had choose to open the mosques "forty (40) minutes before Friday prayer" in all states of the Kingdom except for the cities of Makkah and Jeddah as of today, Friday, June 12.


The ministry said in its statement that this ruling comes to avoid crowds and added that this decision is among the protocols signed by the competent body's.



This decision comes within the protective plans that Kingdom take in order to minimize the spread of coronavirus in the Country.
